Roberto P. Cazzulo is the Director of the RINA Marine Division and RINA Member of the IACS Council. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Genova and, in 1981, joined RINA as an expert in structural and reliability analyses.
Since 1991, he has been working at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and in the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), inter alia, dealing with the development of the IACS Procedural Requirements for ISM Code Certification, the IMO Guidelines on the application of Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) to the rule-making process and the IMO Goal-based standards for new shipbuilding.
