Dr. Yan is the Executive Vice President of ICBC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (ICBC Leasing) and Deputy Head of Banking Department of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).
With more than ten years’ financial experience, Dr. Yan has rich knowledge in the management and operation of corporate finance. As the deputy head of Banking Department,
Dr. Yan and his team are managing various financial products with the total balance exceeding USD 40 billion. In the field of shipping finance, ICBC is the largest commercial bank in China in terms of both strength and the scope of services. Dr. Yan and his colleagues have profound understanding on both the overseas and domestic markets of shipping finance, and they are keeping long-term relationships with many shipping companies. Aiming to provide innovative financial services to both the old and new clients, ICBC exclusively established a new company named ICBC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.(ICBC Leasing) on November 28, 2007, and Dr. Yan took office as the Executive Vice President . Dr. Yan hopes ICBC Leasing will assist more companies in their development and bring a win-win situation for two sides. Dr. Yan graduated from Tianjin University in 1992, then pursued his master degree in Nankai University from 1992 to 1995, and got his doctor degree in China Academy of Social Sciences in 2004.
