Matthew Flynn is managing director of Worldyards.com Pte Ltd, a consultancy covering shipbuilding, offshore, and repair sectors. Matthew Flynn has a decade of experience researching the Asian shipbuilding and maritime fields, first in his role as the East Asia Editor for Lloyd's List and then as the managing director of both Worldyards and Flynn Consulting Ltd. He has lived in Hong Kong and Tokyo for the past 14 years. He is a 1993 MA graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with a concentration in China, Japan, and International Economics. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
