After study of business administration Winfried Elson joined Georg Duncker Marine Insurance Broker in Hamburg. 1992 he changed to Laeisz in Hamburg as person in charge for the insurance activities. Following the expansion of the Laeisz Fleet he became General Manager for all Insurance matters such as H&M and P&I.
