Nick Taylor started working as a Hull Broker for Seascope in 1978 and moved to Willis Faber in 1984 to run their marine reinsurance broking team in London concentrating on business from Spain and Italy.
Attended the Sloan Fellowship Masters Programme at London Business School 1991-2 and returned to Willis as Sales Director of the Marine Division. During this period he was the architect of the Shoreline COFR product, developed in response to the stipulations of OPA ’90.
Nick moved to Marsh in 1997 and has led the significant growth in Marsh’s portfolio of Hull, Liability and P&I business in Iberia and Latin America. He has also been involved in initiatives with regard to ship finance, and was instrumental in promoting changes to the Athens Convention during the IMO sessions in 2007.
Nick is now leading Marsh’s P & I team in London.
