Egil Holland joined the Federation of Norwegian Industries in April 2001. The Federation has 2.200 member companies with approximately 110,000 employees.
The Maritime Sector has 140 member companies including equipment suppliers, shipyards and ship designers.
As a Director of the Maritime Sector, he is responsible for the day-to-day work for the position of the members towards the Authorities and the society. The task is to ensure future employment, market position and welfare and to agree on a sustainable industrial policy for Norway.
The Maritime Sector also works for a level playing field in the competition with other countries in Europe.
He has 40 years of experience of management positions within companies involved in shipbuilding, ship equipment, and recruitment of personell.
