Mr. Yang has been working for COSCO for 22 years and his extensive experience focuses on marketing, chartering, operation of the bulk fleet, market research and strategic research. Within the headquarters of the group, he took up the positions of Deputy Director of Transportation Division, Executive Director of COSCO Research.
In recent years, his voice was heard at Beijing, Italy, Los Angeles, Athens, Tokyo, Singapore at different shipping forums.
Starting from 2004, together with Drewry Shipping, Journal of Commerce and Maritime China, COSCO organized World Shipping (China) Summit every year which has been acclaimed as one of the top shipping conferences in the world. He is the chief organizer of this event.
Holding a master's degree in Economics from Shanghai Maritime University, he did a LLM degree in commercial law in the University of Bristol, England with the sponsorship of Chevening Scholarship.
Starting from October 2009, he started to work in COSCO UK which covers container business, logistics, ship agency, bulk shipping, ship management.
