Oslo Shipping Forum 2011

This year's Forum will help you find opportunities at a time of risk and uncertainty for shipping. Through a series of illuminating presentations and lively discussions, leading speakers will present ideas and engage in discussion on how to position your company for the up-cycle.

Session 1
What and where are the opportunities for maritime Norway?

Session 2
Bull market dynamics - where opportunity and risk collide.

Session 3
Are real world responsibilities and opportunities compatible?

Session 4
The tanker market – demand outlook, risks, opportunities, liquidity and restructuring.

Outlook for the crude, products and gas sector. Opportunities to ehance shareholder value require vision, rigorous scrutiny and above all affordable capital - but has investor appetite for shipping gone cold? Are world events giving investors the jitters? How are owners dealing with the liquidity squeeze? For those out of position going into the down cycle, is restructuring now the only option?
